The AMIEE Student Chapter at Aditaya Institute of Technology and Management (AITAM) successfully organized a highly interactive and insightful Guest Lecture on “Machine Learning and Real-World Applications.” The session attracted enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members across the department.
The event aimed to promote a deeper understanding of how sustainability principles can be integrated into teaching, research, and computational methodologies, fostering a more responsible and forward-looking academic ecosystem.
It was a pleasure to host the sessions along with Ms. Srividhya Sekhar, and an enriching experience to listen to our distinguished speakers who shared their invaluable insights on sustainability in academia and computing.

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Dasaradha Arangi, Assistant Professor, Department of CSM, who explained the core concepts of Machine Learning, its algorithms, and its growing impact across various industries. He highlighted practical applications in sectors such as healthcare, finance, automation, e-commerce, and intelligent systems. Students gained valuable clarity on how machine learning models function and how they can apply these concepts in academic projects and real-time problem-solving.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Pradeep Kumar Mahapatro, Assistant Professor, Department of CSM, whose efforts ensured smooth organization and student engagement throughout the session.
