We are excited to announce a One-Week Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the cutting-edge theme: “AI-Assisted Research Writing: Research Papers, Books, Theses, and the Applications of Large Language Models” This FDP is being organized by the AMIEE Association & CMAOI Association in collaboration with the Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, and will be held from 13th July to 17th July 2026 (Monday to Friday) from 2pm to 4pm.

This FDP is a forward-looking initiative designed to equip faculty members, researchers, scholars, and postgraduate students with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) into academic research and scholarly writing. The programme focuses on the responsible and ethical use of AI tools throughout the research lifecycle, including literature review, research design, academic writing, citation management, editing, proofreading, and publication support. Structured with flexible sessions, the FDP ensures accessibility for academicians, research professionals, and working scholars.

Spanning five enriching days, the FDP will provide comprehensive insights into AI-assisted research methodologies and scholarly communication using modern Large Language Models. Through expert lectures, live demonstrations, hands-on practice, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants will learn how to leverage AI for writing high-quality research papers, books, dissertations, theses, book chapters, and review articles while maintaining academic integrity and ethical standards. The programme will also cover advanced applications of LLMs in idea generation, literature synthesis, data interpretation, reference management, plagiarism awareness, journal selection, and research productivity, enabling participants to enhance the quality, efficiency, and global impact of their academic work in the rapidly evolving digital research ecosystem.
